How Do You Bring Bed Bugs Home?

At some point in life, we all dread the thought of creepy crawlies attacking our homes and the most likely ones among them are the bed bugs. They are not only annoying; they can also cause serious damage to your home. Bed bugs have been around since ancient times, but their numbers have increased dramatically over the past few years. If you notice red bumps on your skin, you might have bed bugs. These tiny bites are hard to spot unless you know where to look. What are bed bugs? Bed bugs are small insects that live on warm-blooded animals, including humans. They are reddish brown and oval shaped. Adult bed bugs are about 1/8 inch long and look similar to ticks. Bed bugs are nocturnal and hide during the day. They spend the night feeding on blood and then go back to hiding places where they wait until morning.
